What The Friday?!

I don't know if you've noticed my lack of blogging lately...(I'm sure you haven't, you have many others to read... unless you're a member of my family, and this is the only blog you read....)but I have entered into the toddler arena.
LB is a-movin' and a-shakin'...and I don't have much time to blog anymore.T'is sad.::and::a bit ofwhat the friday?!
She was napping so well just a few weeks ago.I'd rock her to sleep (because I don't know how else to get her to sleep...)and lay her in her crib, and she would sleep for at least an hour.It was golden.But a few weeks ago,she wakes up every time I move!Meaning?She will only nap if I hold her!!!GGGAAAAHHHH!!!!!what the friday?!
Yesterday, I even crawled into her crib with her.It ALMOST worked...I'm going to try it again today.(I don't know how I'll be getting out... but that's an entirely different worry.)**What? I saw Kyle Richards do it with her 2 year old on Beverly Hills Housewives.**{what? don't you get parenting tips from the Housewives??}
Okay.I am open to advice.
(I have let her cry.. just doesn't seem to work. She gets even MORE worked up and doesn't nap at all.)**fyi- she falls asleep amazingly at night, I rock her to sleep, and when the bottle falls out of her mouth, I could Samba with her and she'd sleep through it!**fyi- I don't know how to Samba.
*last fyi- I have been reading your blogs from my iPhone app while I'm rocking LB, but I'm too lazy to comment on them. Sorry!! I'll try to do better!!!

Tuesday's With LB ~ Halloween Edition

We didn't bring LB trick-or-treating this year.. perhaps we should've, but there's already enough candy in this house, I didn't need more from neighbors and strangers...

However, we DID dress LB up!

That's the best part, anyways!

Yes, Jerk Face. She IS my doll baby.

And, because I wasn't a blogger last year, I'll post a photo of her costume last year:

We WERE going to dress LB up like a piggy, because she makes a great piggy impression..

but a week or so before Halloween, I was checking something on the internet, and up popped a ghost.

I showed LB the ghost, and told her that a ghost says "Boo!"

...she repeated it back right away!

And her costume was born...

Just Some Small Talk About Calories...

My parents bought my husband some Transformer snowballs ("Snowballimus") for his birthday.
{side note: His birthday isn't until mid-November, but the expiration date on this REALLY GREAT GIFT was approaching... so they had to give them to him early.}
{side note: My mom made sure to let him know that they did NOT pay the $4.29 it says they cost. That would be too much to spend on his birthday. :)  ::snicker::}

I wanted to try one... (yes, even though they were about to expire.. and probably have a shelf-life longer than I do..)  They were Optimus Prime colored, and I don't remember the last time I had a snowball.....

KSK:  Will you split this with me?
Jerk Face: No, just eat it.
KSK: But I don't want it all.. it's not very healthy.
Jerk Face: Sure it is...
KSK: There's 170 calories.. and 40 are the fat calorie ones...
Jerk Face: That means 130 are healthy ones. They don't tell you that, do they?


::sigh::


If only it were true...

What The Friday?!

I have a hotmail account, which I consider my 'junkmail' account. It was my very first email account, and I've signed up for a lot of junk throughout the years.

I checked it the other day (which is a rare occurance..), 

and it told me that my account was hacked!

what the friday?!

A few days later, I signed onto my gmail account.

This is my account that I use everyday.

It alerted me that my account was trying to be accessed by someone in the Philippines!!

what the friday?!

Two of my email accounts have been hacked in the last two weeks.

Tuesday's With LB

A few weeks ago, we went to the botanical gardens in our area.


 We saw some ducks... I'm not sure who was more excited... Jerk Face or LB?

(and just because I think this is a neat shot:)

in the car, while Daddy is running in to get some milk:

 (a quick game of peek-a-boo)

Then we went our first family nature walk.

(this is pretty much the only LB picture we took there)

A few tidbits about LB:

On her 15 month appointment, she cried.

She is 32 inches long.

I forget how much she weighed... 

seriously, she cried almost the entire time we were there.

(and she didn't get her shot until the very end.)

The doctor said that 15 month olds really start experiencing stranger anxiety...

(and he said that she'll be okay when he backs away.. and then he backed up to the other side of the room.. and? She continued to cry.. HA!)

She clearly says :

'Mommy'

--more like "momeeee"--

(not ma or mama anymore)

Daddy

(not dada)

Kitty

and she knows what a kitty says

*and what Mojo says*

along with:

pig, cow, elephant, zebra, horsey (Those 3 say the same thing),

bunny, fish, mouse, birdie, anteater, walrus, sheep

(we're working on ducky and puppy)

She says "bobbeee"

Not sure why?

(but we call her 'Whitney' when she does it...)

She bows and says "thank you"

(hope to get video of that soon)

She started feeding her baby doll it's bottle.

She can put the coins in her piggy bank.

She's pretty good at putting the circle and square in their holes (with help).

She stacks the rings on that little yellow thing.

and usually WEARS them too..

*which reminds me.. She loves purses. She'll wear one and knee walk or hold my hand and walk around saying "bye! bye!" and blowing kisses.

She walks only when she has our fingers.. 

but sometimes forgets, and walks just fine without.

She has a new found love for shoes.

she never really liked wearing them in the past..

She stood up on her own tonight.

no help from people or furniture.

all on her own!

(she's learning eyebrows)

She's just getting so big!
